Are my teeth suitable for whitening?

Very effective for teeth that have been stained by smoking or by consuming staining substances such as coffee, tea, or red wine and also whitens teeth discolored by certain medicines, such as tetracycline, or speckled by fluoride. Our whitening procedure gives superb results for anyone who wants to whiten their teeth and we have varying strengths of whitening gels, so even if you have sensitive teeth, you are well cared for.

Crowns, caps, veneers etc will not be affected, only natural teeth are whitened. Anyone who has teeth disclolouration no matter how light/dark will benefit from our treatment, however pregnant women should consult a doctor.

How white will my teeth go?

Test proves that, after whitening with our procedure the teeth score from 5 to 14 shades lighter on the VITA scale and an average of 8 shades. The results depend on how discoloured the teeth were originally, but the end result will be white, shiny teeth.

How long will the teeth whitening last?

This varies from person to person and depends on your diet and lifestyle, but the effect should usually last for at least 1 year.

What is the difference between your whitening tecnique and other methods of whitening?

This laser whitens your teeth instantly and there are no side effects, except for you may experience slight sensitivity for the first 12 - 24 hours following the procedure.It does not damage the teeth and gives the best possible results.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment is three ten minute mini sessions, every 10 minutes fresh gel is applied for optimum whitening. The dental technician will spend 10 minutes preparing you for the whitening procedure, so will take around 45 minutes in total

Is it safe?

Yes, scientific articles have shown that the active ingredients in the whitening gel are effective and safe for cosmetic tooth whitening. It does not change or damage the structure of teeth, it merely makes them appear whiter and brighter. The laser uses the most advanced light filtration system of any power whitening system which ensures patient safety and comfort.

Will it hurt?

Most clients experience no pain or sensitivity after the treatment. A very small percentage of clients may feel some minor tooth sensitivity especially if having very cold or hot foods or drinks within a few hours following the treatment. Avoid hot or cold food or drinks for the first 24 hours after the treatment to avoid increased tooth sensitivity.

If I would like to have my teeth whitened in my lunch hour, is this possile and what about my expensive work suit?

Yes this is possible, and you do not need to worry about your suit as we provide a protective lab coat for clothes protection.

Will I need a private room in my office to have my teeth whitened?

No, we have performed teeth whitening for sales and promotional staff in open areas and had 3 or 4 qualified staff carrying out the procedure, with clients waiting too. So it does not have to be a private procedure.

How much room will I need?

Just enough room for a therapy chair for you to lay on and for the staff to move around the chair. About 6' x 6' square area would be fine.

I have not visited my dentist for over 20 years can I still have them whitened?

We as professionals will probably not undertake a teeth whitening session with you and would advise a dental visit.

Will all of my teeth be whitened?

Within the 30 - -45 minutes power whitening procure your exposed smiling teeth will be whitened, around 16 - 20 teeth, if you wish you can purchase a whitening tray kit for home use to whiten the back of your teeth.
